This contemporary Portland home draws on the natural light and open air afforded by its windows and doors to embrace both the city skyline and surrounding nature. Quantum's Signature Series Windows in rift sawn white oak are found throughout the home in configurations of fixed, casement, and corners. Roto operated sashes are fit with Truth Maxim hand operated folding handles in brushed nickel, and interior lift-out wood framed insect screens in black fiberglass mesh. Push-out sashes are seen with white bronze handles and strike hardware, and complete with removable wood framed insect screens with overlay hinges, ball catches and brass knobs finished to match sash fasteners.

The project’s Slide & Fold Doors come with teak door sills, top running outswing panels, Eclipse E3 hardware systems, and brushed stainless hinges and hinge handles.

Several Lift & Slide Door systems are incorporated into the design featuring multi-point latches, stainless steel carriage systems, and sliding insect screen panels with flush pulls to match door panels.

Finally, Quantum’s Hinged Door Series appear in the kitchen and the training room, including a single hung inswing door with transom and sidelite, fastened with Stanley full mortise butt hinges. All product throughout this home features rectangular sticking and stops, and exterior beveled glazing stops on the bottom.
