An award-winning example of what it means to instill the spirit of Aloha in a home in the Hawaiian islands. Rather than one one large structure, this project is comprised of several hale's each unique in their own respect. The shape of the buildings are inspired by the lean-to, the traditional homes of the islands. Each allows the natural winds to breeze through and provide a fresh connection to the owners surroundings. The unique angles and shapes of the wood windows and doors was incredible to manufacture.
