Overview
This lakeside vacation home opens up to the shores of Lake Pend Oreille thanks to its Clad Lift & Slide Door system. Quantum custom manufactured three panels measuring 8 ft tall and almost 8 ft wide, resulting in a 24 ft wall of gliding wood, glass and anodized aluminum cladding.
The panels are clear vertical grain douglas fir pre-finished with a benite conditioner on all interior surfaces, and jamb interiors and exteriors. The panels are glazed with Cardinal LoE-272 tempered glass and light grey Edgetech SuperSupers. The door system features a handle configuration with interior levers and an exterior flush pull on the primary panel. The sill, head and faceplate finish is clear anodized.
Completing the Lift & Slide Door are insect screen panels with grey fiberglass screen mesh rolled into cladding, with flush pulls on the interior and exterior of the primary panel.
