Overview

This custom home is nestled in western Michigan offering its owners spectacular framed forest views. Built from solid Sapele, Quantum's Classic Series Windows and Lift & Slide Doors are featured throughout the home in a variety of unique configurations and styles.

The striking angular common mullion window wall featured in the living room is a testament to the architectural uniqueness afforded by our Classic Window Series. Throughout the project are several combinations of casement, fixed, cornering and awning units. Where operable windows are located, Truth Maxim hand, or roto, operated sashes are designed with contour handles in brushed chrome. Completing the windows are wood framed insect screens with an interior lift-out screen sash and black fiberglass mesh.

A number of Quantum's Lift & Slide Doors appear in this project, with Teak door sills, multi-point latching, and stainless steel carriage systems. In the living room we see a 24ft Lift & Slide system allowing for an unobstructed opening of up to 12ft, and in the bedroom is a pocketing Lift & Slide Door. The home also incorporates Quantum's Hinged Series Doors including a single hung outswing unit and a single hung entry door complete with sidelite. All product in this home feature interior rectangular sticking and exterior beveled glazing stops.
