Overview
Heliotrope is an architectural firm in the Ballard section of Seattle that consistently generates intelligent designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and extremely functional. For the Collector’s Retreat, they selected an increasingly popular blend of our Classic Series Wood and Aluminum Clad Wood for their windows and doors.
The focal point is arguably the 30 foot configuration of French Doors and fixed glass in which Quantum minimized the stiles and rails to mimic the sightlines of steel while maintaining the warmth and performance of wood. To achieve this look, Quantum utilized a perimeter frame which required no additional structure, allowing glazing consistency throughout the home.
