Perched 800 feet above the Columbia River, Quantum’s Clad Series floor to ceiling window walls and Lift & Slide Door Systems provide one of the most panoramic views in the Northwest while providing the structural integrity to withstand one of the most challenging micro-climates in the country.
The project, initially specified as aluminum, was changed to aluminum clad wood once the owners had the opportunity to walk through Quantum’s finish shop. They were able to see the alchemy of ebony stained Sapele Mahogany which bears a definite aesthetic to aluminum while offering all of the warmth, performance and beauty of handcrafted wood.
