In a direct departure from standard aluminum storefronts, The Quil Ceda Creek Casino and I-5 Design approached Quantum to design and build a modern all wood pivot door system for their new upscale club, The QZone. The Quantum system features three center pivot door panels (69-3/4" x 93-3/4") in one perimeter frame. Rixson pivot hinges were used in conjunction with their closer/hold open feature that allows the doors to remain fully open or be individually operated. Sapele was selected for its characteristic warmth and durability to which a deep triple ebony wiping stain and three clear coats were applied. The net result was the modern look of dark aluminum combined with the organic element of wood that truly sets the expectation for the experience that awaits you when you walk through the doors.
