With an inviting terrace, an interior Zen garden and a completely open upper floor, this island inspired residence is a showpiece for over fifty-five gorgeous custom built Quantum sapele windows and twelve Quantum sapele door systems with teak door sills. Product profiles have rectangular glazing stops on top and sides, and beveled glazing stops at the bottom. Glazing throughout the home is both standard clear and obscured, or diffused, white laminated inboard.
Quantum Signature Series Windows are found throughout the project in a combination of single casements, double casements, fixed sashes, awnings and hoppers. On select elevations the outswing push-out sashes are equipped with Bronze Craft handle and strike hardware in oil rubbed bronze, and four bar stainless steel friction hinges allowing for egress. Several units are outswing roto sashes with hand operated Truth Maxim contour handles, four bar stainless steel friction hinges allowing for egress, and interior lift-out wood framed insect screens with black fiberglass mesh. Clerestory sashes are operated by 6 foot telescoping poles with Bronze Craft ring end handle and strike hardware, and pole hook and hanger hardware.
Cornering sliding pocketing and non-pocketing doors are found throughout the home including the beach room, master bedroom, and living room. Quantum Hinged Series Doors are incorporated as single hung inswing flat panels in the garage and stairwell, and a single hung inswing raised panel door with glass sidelites comprising the main entry.
